Timothy 'Nibbs' Carter (Cleethorpes, 6 September 1966), British born bassist for heavy metal band Saxon. He is the most enduring bass player in Saxon history, appearing on eleven of their studio albums. Furthermore, he played an important role in the renewal process of the musical style Saxon embraced from 1990 onwards. ==Biography== As a session musician with Eddie Clarke's Fastway, which he joined in 1987, he recorded ''On Target'' (released in 1988). In 1988 he joined Saxon, after Paul Johnson left during Destiny tour. Due to his young age (at that time he was 22) and dynamic stage presence, he became adored by Saxon fans. He made his recording debut with two live albums, ''Rock 'n' Roll Gypsies'' (1989) and ''Greatest Hits Live'' (1990). His addition "seemed to inject some new life into the group". He has played on every Saxon album since 1989's Rock 'n' Roll Gypsies〔(【引用サイトリンク】url=http://www.markbass.it/artist_detail.php?id=1162 )〕
